So for those of you who might consider visiting this wonderful country, there is one solid piece of advice we can give: Go to the local markets and night markets. First of all, not only cheaper prices but, the food are from locals and tastes absolute heavenly.

Without further delay, lets start with the types of food and food stalls you can find on the markets. Kueh Teow, Roti Canai, Soto Ayam, Kerabu, Keropok Lekor and Lemang (great with Rendang) are just a grasp of all the available meals. Be sure to be on the lookout for them, since they literally are irresistible!

Another source of getting your food is the restaurants, some of them (sadly) only exist in South East Asia. But that makes the trip more than worthwhile. You can choose any regular restaurants, or try something new, like: Secret Recipe, Kenny Rogers, The Windmill, or learn where to find western food made by locals, for example here is a delicious meal; chicken chop.
